Meeting called to order by Andrew Fox – 9:15p.m.

 

¨      Formal – Successful and everyone enjoyed themselves

¨      Advisor National Search underway

§         In discussion: Who SGA’s potential advisor will be for next academic school year

¨      Awards:

§         Senator of the Year – Kerri Slavin

§         Rookie of the Year – Greg Torchiana

§         Announced at Formal, physical awards will be given soon

¨      Executive Board Elections

§         Online Voting

§         Campaigning Restrictions and Policies reviewed

§         More information online – link on SGA homepage

§         Voting Dates are taking place before Easter Break

§         Standard SGA Senator elections will occur after break

¨      Committee Reports

§         Student Affairs is cancelled until April

§         Library Committee

·        Offering different database options (Scavenger Hunt)

¨      Basketball Marathon

§         Everyone must be in SGA office at 2:00pm on Friday unless in class

§         Food – everything is all squared away with

§         Entertainment – Finalize everything on Friday

§         Publicity – Hand outs this week

·        Wear Green BBM shirts tomorrow

·        Union Quad 12:00 – 2:00p.m. to promote BBM this weekend

§         Recruitment – Remind all teams of times and arrival on Friday and Saturday

      • Professors could conduct a consultation group for students and faculty involved

    • Issue with Travel Study Programs in Arts & Sciences, Business, Nursing Schools
    • Discussed Policy and Procedure of Committee
      • Need to research other schools and perhaps imitate their model for their University Curriculum Committee
